2021 British Superbike champion Tarran Mackenzie joined WorldSSP in 2023 as Honda made their return to the Championship. He raced alongside Adam Norrodin in his WorldSSP campaign and stunned to give Honda a first win in seven years at Most, when the Scotsman took advantage of wet weather to claim victory.

For 2024, Mackenzie remains with the Petronas MIE Racing Honda team but in WorldSBK rather than WorldSSP. ‘Taz’ has plenty of experience on Superbike machinery, including taking the 2021 British championship title, but is now preparing for his rookie WorldSBK campaign.
